Richard Elwood Moser

Richard Elwood Moser, born on July 4, 1943, in Washington County, Maryland, passed away on September 1, 2024, in Hagerstown. Born to the parents of the late Roland and Helen (Smith) Moser.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Moser, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 Richard was a cherished figure known for his love of the outdoors, specifically relishing hunting and fishing, activities that deeply connected him to nature's beauty and tranquility. Richard also had a passion for good food, often enjoying meals shared with family and friends, celebrating the simple yet profound joys of life.

Richard leaves behind a loving family including his daughter, Sherry Hutzell, (Robert); his son; Daryl Moser, (Staci), as well as his granddaughter; Samantha Rupp (Zack), grandson; Eric Hutzell, step grandson; Dustin, and great-grandchildren; Bau and Miles Rupp, who brought him much joy and pride.

Inurnment will be private and  at the convivence of the family.
