Robert "Bob" Michael Johnson

Robert (Bob) Michael Johnson, 82, passed away February 14, 2021 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.

Born October 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Robert L and Marguerite Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Iris J. Johnson and his sister Susie Hancock.

Bob graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1956 and served in the US Air Force from 1956-1962. After being honorably discharged, Bob went to work at Potomac Edison as a Project Coordinator and from there went on to becoming an Executive VP and Engineer for Fox & Associates. Following his employment at Fox he went to Davis, Renn & Associates and worked as a Project Manager until retiring.

Bob is a lifelong member of St John’s Lutheran Church and was involved in many organizations. He was a member and past president of the Williamsport Lions Club; a member of the Hagerstown Elks Lodge 378; and a member of Tall Cedars of Lebanon Masonic organization.

Bob loved to travel with his family, watch the Orioles and Ravens games with his grandson, and go to car shows. He was a very proud grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter Beth, her husband George, and grandson Kyle Haynes.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Hoda Zavandro officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
