Robert Coss Zeigler

Robert Coss Zeigler, 77, of Mercersburg, Pa., died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at Manor Care in Chambersburg, Pa.
Born July 5, 1934, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Russell C. and Francis Elizabeth (Stralley) Zeigler.
Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.
He had worked as a farm hand for his brotherâ??s farm.
Robert is survived by a niece, Debbie Smith, and a nephew, Richard Malloy, both of Hagerstown; and special friends, Michelle J. Killinger and William E. Dabbs Sr. of Mercersburg.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating.
Interment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown
