Robert Franklin Shoaf, 88, of Hagerstown, passed away, Monday, September 29, 2014, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born October 14, 1925 in West Jefferson, Ohio, he was the son of the late, Franklin Shoaf and Maxine (Snyder) Shook and the stepson of the late, Clarence J. Shook.
Robert was a 1944 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
Mr. Shoaf was an US Army veteran of WW II.
He retired as an organ console technician at the M.P. Moller Organ Company, Hagerstown.
He was a member of The Good Shepherd Ministries Church, Hagerstown.
Mr. Shoaf was a passionate baseball fan and loved the Orioles. He also loved wood carving; especially water fowl and other birds.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dew Elaine (Wolfe) Shoaf; two sons, Steven Shoaf and wife Cathy and Jeffrey Shoaf, all of Hagerstown; five grandchildren, Michael, Joel, Bethany, Brittany and Jordan and seven great grandchildren.
Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be mentioned at a later date.
