Robert Lee Gearhart, 66, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

Born March 8, 1956, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Robert Leo and Katherine (Riley) Gearhart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gay Ellen (Gearhart) Overstreet, and niece Michelle "Mikki" (Overstreet) Bragg.

Robert was a graduate of Williamsport High School class of 1975.

He was a Custodial Engineer for Washington County Public School System for 39 years.

In his spare time Robert loved cleaning, camping, collecting antique fire trucks, and spending time with his beloved family.

He was a proud life member of the Volunteer Fire Co. of Halfway, the CVVFA, as well as the Elks Lodge 378.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pamela Gearhart; two sons, Justin Gearhart and Travis Gearhart; three daughters-in-law, Sarah Gearhart, Andrea "Adrian" Clark, and Natasha Hall; three grandchildren, Maddy Dundus, Cian Hall, and Carter Gearhart; brother Terry Gearhart, and niece Susan (Overstreet) Skare.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 26, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown 21742.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, to celebrate their 75th Anniversary, donations in honor of Robert Gearhart may be made to the Volunteer Fire Department, 11114 Lincoln Ave. Hagerstown.
