Robert Lee Huntzberry, 90, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Monday, May 15, 2023 at Doey's House, Hagerstown.
Born December 10, 1932 in Fairplay, Md. he was the son of the late, Ralph Henry and Minnie Douglas (Showe) Huntsberry. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara (Smith) Huntzberry, his son, Robert L. "Tim" Huntzberry, Jr., a sister, Linda Smith and two great grandchildren, Logan Lacy and Luna Graff.
Mr. Huntzberry was a Sgt. in the US Army during the Korean War.
He was a carpenter all his life and retired from East Alcoa, Frederick, Md. with over 20 years of service.
He was a member of Manor Church of the Brethren, where he served as Deacon; honorary member of District 12 VFD; lifetime member of the Ruritan Club, all of Fairplay, and he was a bass guitarist playing in a Gospel and Country Music Band.
Mr. Huntzberry is survived by his wife of 18 years, Linda L. (Wagner) Huntzberry; three sons, Jerry Huntzberry (Sharon), Tony Snyder (MeeLee) and J.R. Cave (Kim); three daughters, Mary Myatt (Chris), Kathy Huntzberry and Tonya Dinolfi; sixteen grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandson and two fur babies Ava and Benji.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Roy Fahnastock officiating.
