Robert Lane "Rocky" Underwood, Sr., 60, of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, February 15, 2015 at his home.
Born December 12, 1954 in Roanoke, Virginia he was the son of the late Walter T. Underwood, Sr. and Conova E. (Guillians) Lipes. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by three brothers, Ricky L. Underwood, Walter T .Underwood, Jr. and James A. Underwood and his best friend, Melvin Faith.
Rocky had worked as a laborer in maintence and construction.
He is survived by two children, Robert L. Underwood, Jr. and Brenda Underwood, both of Abbeville, Georgia; one brother, Kenneth Ray Underwood of Roanoke; one sister, Linda C. Underwood Holmes of Hagerstown; six grandchildren; four nieces and nephews, Wendy Smith, Tony Underwood, Connie Weaver and Ashley Frankel.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery with Pastor Robert Miller officiating.
Friends will be received one hour prior to services at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
