Ronald Lee Wilson, Sr.

Ronald Lee Wilson, Sr., 73, of Boonsboro, Md., passed away, Monday, July 8, 2024 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.Born May 10, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky he was the son of the late, James and Virginia Mae (Wilson) Hardin. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by four siblings, Donetta Royal, James Hardin, Delberta Hardin and Harry Hardin.Mr. Wilson retired as a clerk for the United States Postal Service and was a 10 year veteran of the US Marine Corps.He was a loyal fan of the Washington, DC sports teams, especially the Washington Redskins (Commanders), and the Washington Senators (Nationals). Mr. Wilson is survived by two children, Ronald L. Wilson, Jr. (Nicole) and Teria L. Keenan (John); one brother, Charles Hardin; seven grandchildren, Christopher (Emma), Jesse (Lauren), Eryn, Brooke (Kyle), Olivia, Skylar and Braxtan; two great grandchildren, Camden and Adaline and also his former spouse, Connie Wilson Johnson.A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the U S Marine Corps Honor Guard.Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
