Ross Allen Lorshbaugh

Ross Allen Lorshbaugh, 72, of Hagerstown, passed away, Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at John's Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of Lukemia.
Born November 25, 1946 in Clear Spring, Md. he was the son of the late, Carl William and Louise Ellen (Miles) Lorshbaugh.In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by the love of his life, Mary Lou (Fox) Lorshbaugh and a brother, Larry Ray Lorshbaugh.
In his working life Mr. Lorshbaugh was a mechanic by trade and owner and operator of service stations in Hagerstown.
He was a member of the Improved Order of Redmen, Conococheague Tribe # 84, the Loyal Order Of Moose Lodge, both of Williamsport and the Wacohu Grange #415, Huyetts Crossroads. Ross was active as a coach for Grace Academy's girls basketball team
Mr. Lorshbaugh is survived by his son, Brian C. Hull, of Hedgesville, W.Va.; one brother, Carl W. "Bill" Lorshbaugh, of Pa.; two sisters, Carol Showe and husband, Jimmy of Williamsport and Darlene Turner of Hagerstown; a granddaughter, Brianna Davis; several nieces and nephews and a special friend and neighbor, Susan Sowers who mowed his grass and took care of his flower beds when he was getting sick and is still taking care of them after his passing.
A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor James Gross officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
Interment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery and held at the convenience of the family.
