Ruby Marie Kline, 77, of Hagerstown, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 14, 2020, at her home surrounded by loving family.
Born on January 10, 1943 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Fannie (Burger) and Garrett Poffenberger. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death one sister; Betty Beckley and two brothers; Kenneth Poffenberger and Donnie Poffenberger.
Ruby was a member of Abundent Life Tabernacle Church of Washington Street, Hagerstown.
She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, James E. Kline, five children; Step-son; Jimmy Itnyre of Hagerstown, Daughter; Tawana Vaughn and husband Walter of Hagerstown, Step-Daughter Mandy Patterson and husband Rob of Chambersburg, PA, Step-Daughter; Jennifer Kline of Cumberland, MD, and Step-Son; James E. Kline, II of Hagerstown. Three Grandchildren; Hannah Vaughn, James E. Kline, III and Gracelynn R. Kline. Four brothers; Eddie Poffenberger, Wilbert Poffenberger, Gary Poffenberger and Jeffrey Poffenberger. Four sisters; Connie McGown, Thelma Socks, Thea Gross and Tena Brashears. And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ruby's name to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
