Ruth Estella Johnson

Ruth Estella Johnson, 73, of Greencastle, Pa. passed away, Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at the Hospice of the Panhandle, Kearneysville, W.Va.
Born December 16, 1945 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, James Calvin and Mildred Ruth (McLucas) Horn. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Nevin L. Johnson, Sr. in 2004; a daughter, Teresa L. Sherrard in 2013 and a sister, Betty Ann Horn (Seibert) in 2016.
Mrs. Johnson was Methodist by faith and a member of the Mason Dixon Region of the Antique Automotive Club of America (AACA) and the AARP.
She had worked as an associate and manager in the Fabric and Craft Department at Walmart in Hagerstown for 16 years.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Jonathan Bible, Christina Yakubovich (Hetzer), Daniel Sherrard and Tyler Sherrard; three great grandchildren, Addison Bible, Tessa Bible and Gracie Yakubovich; three sisters, Dolores P. Horn, Mary L. Bisesi and Virginia I. Kimble; one brother, James C. "Jim" Horn and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Dennis Whitmore officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 P.M.
