Samuel Kenneth Bonebrake, Jr.

Samuel Kenneth Bonebrake, Jr., passed away at his home on December 21, 2024. Born on May 25, 1942, he was the son of the late Samuel Bonebrake, Sr. and Louise (Williamson) Bonebrake.

Samuel is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 40 years, Sylvia Yvonne (Cantner) Bonebrake in 2013. His three sisters, Kaye Bonebrake, Maryann (Bonebrake) Baker, and Brenda Bonebrake as well.

He resided in Hagerstown, MD, where he worked for Mack Trucks for almost 20 years as an assembly line worker before retiring in May of 2007. Before his time at Mack Trucks, Samuel worked for 10 years for the Western Maryland Railroad. 

In his free time, Samuel (Kenny) loved to go bowling, attend baseball games, and spend time with his family.

Samuel is survived by his two sons. Dr. Jeremy Bonebrake and wife, Courtney of Greencastle, PA and their daughters, Emma and Grace. Kenny also had another son at home, Jason Bonebrake. 

A celebration of life will be held for Samuel on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. with a viewing two hours prior at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
