Sandrafay Ruth (Hartman) Steiner, 76, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, passed away, Thursday, December 8, 2016 at her home.
Born February 9, 1940 she was the daughter of the late, Clarence Albert and Anna Elizabeth (Williams) Hartman. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by a son, Mark Lee Vann; a brother, Nelson E. Hartman and a sister, Roxy Hartman Horning.
Mrs. Steiner loved to garden and dig in the dirt. She was an avid reader and most days you would find her digging and planting flowers.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rodney Gale Steiner; two daughters, Medea Merki and husband, Scott of Berkeley Springs and Madene Keefer and husband, Michael of Hancock, Md.; an estranged son, Michael Vann of Berkeley Springs; seven grandchildren, Meilana Crosen Ostrowsky and husband, Elliott of Scottsville, Va., Mandy Crosen McAlexander of Berkeley Springs, Mathias Crosen and wife Karla of Berkeley Springs, Matthew Merki and fiance, Tiffany Groves of Berkeley Springs, Moriah Keefer Winfield and husband, Nicky of Needmore, Pa., Jordan Keefer of Hancock and Cheyenne Vann Stotzfus of Pennsylvania; thirteen great grandchildren and one due in February.
Graveside services and burial were conducted in Rest Haven Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
