Sara Margaret Keasey

Sara Margaret Keasey, 95, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, August 07, 2024. Born on March 11, 1929, in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William Cloyd Marks and Madelyn Louise (Walls) Marks.

Sara moved to Hagerstown in 1956 with her family and quickly became a part of the community. She dedicated over three decades of her life to retail, working at S.S. Kresge's at Long Meadow Shopping Center from 1958 to 1988; then continuing her career at J.C. Penney at the Valley Mall, until her well-deserved retirement in 1998.

Sara's defining quality was her devotion to her family. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, whether it was enjoying family dinners, going on outings, or simply having one-on-one get-togethers. Her love for mother nature was evident in her appreciation for the simple joys of life.
