Sherry Ann Wagner

Sherry Ann Wagner, 81, of Hagerstown, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at her home under the care of Hospice. She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, John Wagner.

Born on Tuesday, November 23, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Catherine Wilson. Sherry graduated from Hamilton High School. She worked for Duvinage Corp as a secretary in purchasing where she retired after many years with the company. She was a former member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Sherry was a volunteer at Washington County Rural Heritage Museum and was a rug hooking member of WHAHAFA Guild.

Sherry is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wilson.

Sherry is survived by her son, Christopher Sasser and wife Pamela of Pennsylvania; brother, Denis and wife Cheryl Wilson; sisters, Barbara Joy and husband Jack Sasser, Janice and husband Lloyd Harris; two grandchildren, Jessica Bohner and her husband Jeremy, and Mitchell Blevins, six great grandchildren, Sutton Bohner, Tegan Bohner, Kellan Bohner, Rohan Bohner, Easton Blevins, Connor Blevins.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 P.M. on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown Md.

The graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sherry’s name to the Humane Society of Washington County. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.rsthvn.com
