Shirley Louise Burkett, 79, of Boonsboro, passed away, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Greenfield Assisted Living, Hagerstown.
Born August 31, 1939 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Howard O. and Laura Leona (Boward) Crumbacker.
Mrs. Burkett retired from the Washington County Office of Budget and Finance as a supervisor.
She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Shepherdstown, W.Va. and the OWLS Club of the church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ronald Lee Burkett; two daughters, Tammy L. Hutzell and husband, Gary and Michelle L. Martin; four brothers, Wayne Crumbacker, James Crumbacker, Art Crumbacker and wife, Sondra and Douglas Crumbacker; four grandchildren, Derek and Dawn Hutzell, Emmalee and Erinn Martin; sister-in-law, Barbara Burkholder and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 106 South Duke St., Shepherdstown with Rev. Fr. T. Mathew Rowgh as celebrant.
Inurnment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to St. Agnes Catholic Church, (Building Fund), 106 South Duke St., P.O.Box 1603 Shepherdstown, WV 25433
