Susan Camilla Corder, 91, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, December 29th, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born, September 13, 1930 in Cascade, MD she was the daughter of the late Samuel Theodore and Helen (Flohr) Royer.
She had been a lifetime member of Calvary Grace Brethren Church and will always be remembered as a great mother and housewife.
Susan had worked for many years as a seamstress with L' Aiglon Industries and also for Bags By Mimi in Hagerstown.
She is survived by her loving family, a son, John Charles Corder, Jr., of Hagerstown; two daughters, Brenda Huntzberry and husband Harvey of Hagerstown, Susan Hollinger and husband Don of New Bern, N.C.; sister Shirley Oliver and husband Robert of Hagerstown; grandchildren Jacob Corder, Sami Valentine and companion Eddie Wiles and Tyler Bussard; great grandchildren Savannah, Samantha, Nick and Eddie, Jr. and a great great granddaughter Melania Rose.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Charles Corder, Sr., sisters Betty Palmer, Frances Edwards and Martha Layman.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 at Rest Haven Funeral Home 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Julie Brigham officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
