Sylvia Yvonne (Cantner) Bonebrake
Sylvia Yvonne (Cantner) Bonebrake, 67, of Hagerstown, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at her home, with her family by her side.
Born September 5, 1946, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Edgar and Louise Glenna (Charles) Cantner.
She worked as a homemaker, caring for her husband and two sons.
Sylvia attended Life House Church East, but fellowshipped at other area churches as well. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her family and pets. She also enjoyed worshipping the Lord with her many friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Samuel Kenneth Bonebrake; two sons, Jeremy Bonebrake and wife Courtney of Timonium and Jason Bonebrake of Hagerstown; a brother, Harvey Cantner of Hagerstown; and two sisters, Doris Cline of Delaware and Lois Snyder of Waynesboro.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Howell.
A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Bobby Robinson officiating.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
