Tangena Marie Small

Tangena Marie Small, 56, of Hagerstown, went home to be with her Lord and savior on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

Born, September 2, 1965 in Hagerstown, she is the daughter of Barbara A. (Miller) Karn the late, Robert F. Boward and stepdaughter of Michael Karn of Hagerstown

Gena was a 1983 graduate of Williamsport High School and attended Calvary Grace Brethren Church for 51 years.

She had worked at the Office of Consumer Advocates and Washington County Hospital.

Gena's hobbies were facebook, electronic games, comedy movies and especially scratch offs.

She is survived by her husband Willie L Small of Hagerstown, son Michael J. Noble and fiancé Courtney Keating, daughter Krystle S. King and granddaughter Ryleigh June Noble, also Gena's friends Jackie Snodderly, Stephanie Shain and Lynley Higgins, her Sister in laws Shirnette Ferguson, Debbie Nelson and Derene Small. She was preceded in death by her father Robert F. Boward, grandparents Jean and James Boward, Hilda G Keyton, step grandfather John Keyton, grandfather William Henry Miller and dog Buck.

Funeral Services will be held at Rest Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brian Colbert Officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday. All of those in attendance are requested to wear masks.
