Thomas John Clark, 62 of Hagerstown passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord on Friday, March 13, 2020, at his home.
Born October 27, 1957 in Tarentum, Pa. he was the son of James Landon and Joyce Rita (Rogers) Clark of Martinsburg, W.Va.
Thomas was a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute and received a masters ASE certification. He had worked as a service director for Safford Lincoln-Mercury, formerly of Silver Spring, Md; as a wireman and in the electrical shop for the Airflow Company, Gaithersburg, Md.; as a building service supervisor for the Montgomery County Government, Rockville and as the caretaker for the First Assembly of God Church, Silver Spring.
He was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church, First Assembly of God Church and Christ Fellowship Church all of Silver Spring where he served as a Royal Ranger Commander as well as a trustee and deacon, served in the sound ministry, bus ministry and was a faithful attendee of Valley Assembly of God, Hagerstown.
In addition to his parents he also is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Donna Diane (Martin) Clark; two daughters, Christy Newman and husband, James and Courtney Henry and husband, Adam, all of Hagerstown; one brother, Kenneth Dluhy and wife, Jeanie of Inwood, W.Va.; one sister, Rita Ayers and husband, Curt of Greenback Tn.; seven grandchildren, Cody Newman and wife, Bailey, Kaylee Newman, Bryce Henry, Austin Ball, Chloe Newman, Kamryn Newman and Abigail Henry and one great granddaughter, Myla Newman.
Funeral services will be for the immediate family only at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. A Celebration of Life service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
