Tim Ray Warren

Timothy "Tim" Ray Warren, 54, of State Line, PA, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at his home.

Born January 17, 1962, in Waynesboro, PA., he was the son of Phyllis L. (Fitzgerald) Warren of State Line and the late Richard Elliot Warren.

Tim was a 1980 graduate of Greencastle High School. Tim attended cooking school and briefly worked as a chef for Nick's Airport Inn.

He joined the Army Reserves where he worked as a Huey Helicopter engine mechanic. Tim previously worked for TBH as a cement truck driver. He was currently spending his time with friends and family.

Tim was a devout Christian. He enjoyed writing his own music and singing his songs as he played them on guitar at several area churches. He was fascinated by the Civil War Era. Tim will be remembered as a great father as well as a loving son, brother, and husband. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his son, Daniel M. Warren; a daughter, Emily J. Burns and husband Barry; two sisters, Tammy Shank and husband Kenneth "Kenny", Kathy Creek and husband Terry; three grandchildren, Rebeca Warren, Phiona Warren, Cadien Warren; the love of his life, Kathy Warren; a step daughter, Angelique Anac; and his close friend, Robert "Bing" Bingamin.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
