Timothy Owen Stevenson Sr.

Timothy Owen Stevenson Sr. (Tim), 74, of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving Family. He was born on September 2, 1950, in Hagerstown, Maryland. To the late John and Mary Stevenson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his late wife, Margaret Lorraine Stevenson (Peggy), and his siblings, Deborah Ann Stevenson, and John Edward Stevenson.

Tim served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 12/1/1969 to 12/18/73, he was a Vietnam Veteran. Tim was also a member of ABATE Washington County Chapter and an alumni of South Hagerstown High School class of 1969.

Tim was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Tim loved riding motorcycles and spending time with his Family. Tim was a welder by occupation. Most of all, he dearly loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Tim is survived by his children, Heather Lynn Royer (Stevenson), Aaron Lee Short, Travis John Stevenson, Sasha Ayn Stevenson, Joshua Steven Bijold, Jenna Marie Stevenson, and Timothy Owen Stevenson Jr., and sister; Susan Marie Stevenson (Miss), 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Friends and Family will be received from 11:00 – 12:30 pm Friday, January 31, 2025, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave Hagerstown, MD 21742. The funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm at Rest Haven. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery at 600 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
