Tricia Lynne Carter Hei

Tricia Lynne Carter Hei, 62, of Ellenton FL, entered eternal rest on September 30, 2024. 

Originally from Hagerstown MD, she was born July 24, 1962 to the late Gary Wayne Carter, Sr and late Janet Marie Wiles Carter. 

Tricia worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant before getting her credentials to run a licensed home daycare. She also was a pet groomer, and participated in the family business G&G Grill, Hagerstown MD. 

An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, she never missed a game. Other hobbies included teaching aerobics,bodybuilding and weightlifting, eventually winning several awards and setting many records with the East Coast division of Female Weightlifting. 

She is survived by husband James Randy Hei from Glendale AZ, mother-in-law Anatolia (Ann) Hei and brother-in-law Ken Hei, nephew Christopher and niece Jessica, all of Arvada CO. 

Surviving immediate family include son Evan Christopher Gist of Williamsport MD, brother Gary Lee Carter of Ellenton FL (partner Jeremy Wetzel), sister Misty Werner of Hagerstown MD (husband James) and half brother Gary Wayne Carter, Jr. of Hagerstown MD. 

She was also survived by an aunt, 2 uncles and numerous cousins, special friends David Smith from Laguna Beach CA, Joseph H. Wilson III of Ridgely, WV, Alison Wetzel Blair and the entire Wetzel family. 

She will be sadly missed by her constant companion and fur-baby Abby.

Funeral arrangements are being entrusted to Alan Moore Cremation Care, Palmetto FL, and Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown MD. 

A celebration of life will be held by Pastor Kerri True at 12:30pm on October 12, 2024 at the Pavilion in Colony Cove, Ellenton FL. Graveside services will be held by the Reverend Kyle Powderly on November 1, 2024 at  1:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown MD.
