Vaughn (Monty) Montgomery Zimmerman

Vaughn (Monty) Montgomery Zimmerman, 62, passed away on December 3, 2024, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, Maryland. Monty was born on September 3, 1962, in Hagerstown, Maryland to the late Sydney Vaughn Zimmerman and Abby Jean Zimmerman.

Monty is survived by his wife, Amanda, sons, Vaughn, and Dylan (Kassie), one grandson, his pride and joy, Jayden, one sister, Kim Petrucci (Tony), and one brother, Tim (Blythe), and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by “man’s best friend,” Skye.

After graduating from Williamsport High School, Monty attended Frostburg State University and earned a bachelor's degree in business management. He worked as an estimator in the masonry field for many years. Monty recently retired so that he and Amanda could enjoy traveling, especially to Arizona to visit their grandson.

Visitation will be at Rest Haven Funeral Home on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 12-1 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
