Venus Fazal Masih

Venus Fazal Masih (1930-2024) graduated to glory on January 29, 2024 at 7:30 pm. 

She was born to Rev. A. M. Williams and Mrs. Laveeza Williams in Dhariwal, United India. She was the youngest of her five siblings, and also the last one to graduate to glory. She was raised by her two older siblings Headmaster Lawrence Williams and sister Ms. Florence Williams. She was the wife of Prof. Fazal Masih and the mother of Tehseen Irfan, Taukir Gill, Mubasher Fazal and Haroon Fazal. She is survived by her 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren and many members of her extended family and friends.

She resided with her youngest son Haroon Fazal in Hagerstown until she made Heaven her permanent home. Venus Masih led a very godly and rich life. She was a school teacher of 35 years, a dedicated Sunday School teacher, a Bible study leader and a very honorable member of her family, community and a proud citizen of the United States. She spent a lot of time in prayer and the reading of the Word. She was a loving person and lived her Christian faith in her everyday life. She raised her four children in the fear of the Lord and taught them sound faith-based values. Her works survive her. She touched thousands of lives in her tenure on earth and will be richly rewarded for all her labor in Heaven.

Her celebration of life service is to be held on February 12, 2024 at 11 am. Her final resting place will be in Rest Haven Cemetery at 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown MD 21742. They will provide assistance with funeral arrangements. Viewing will start at 10 am and celebration of life service will be at 11 am at Hub City Church at 17805 Oakridge Dr. Hagerstown MD 21740. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742. This will be followed by lunch at the Hub City Church.
