Vera Veronica Murray

Vera Veronica (Richins) Murray, 75, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018.

Born in Trinidad, West Indies on November 2, 1942, a daughter of the late Tamacia (Richins) and Boysie Braithwaite.

Vera Murray was the loving mother of 4 sons and an amazing grandmother/ great grandmother. She was loving and generous to all she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.


She is survived by her sons, Nickey Murray wife Gloria, Clifford Murray, Timothy Murray wife Leshia and Andrew Murray wife Comfort; 14 grandchildren, Andrew Lester, Johl, Kimberly, KaSandra, Matthew, T.J., Marqus, Christian, Nicole, Gabby, Michael, Tristan, Liam and Comfort Vera; 4 great grandchildren, Ashyleigh, Keiryanna, Isabella, and Bryson; her Aunt, Norma Richins; her Uncle, Neville Seales and a host of cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Inc. 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742. Pastor Ronald Bradford and Pastor Mitch Robinson will be officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
