Virginia Catherine Struble, 81, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Alder Center for Caring, Aldie, Va.
Born November 18, 1935 in St. Marys, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late, John J. Wolfel, Jr. and Sabina Ann (Hassleman) Wolfel. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Raymond F. Struble, Sr. and a daughter, Marjorie Pyles.
Mrs. Struble retired as a dietary cook for MNS Health Care, Hagerstown.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Hagerstown.
Her hobbies included gardening, reading, sewing and a love for the outdoors.
She is survived by three sons, Marty Struble of Lorton, Va., Raymond Struble of Dunn Loring, Va. and Peter Struble of Port Republic, N.J.; three daughters, Joyce Kabir of Lorton, Va., Charlotte Elliott of Hanover, Pa. and Nancy Yale of Yelm, Wa.; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Deacon Gary Fulmer officiating.
Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
