Vivian Helen Kline 72, of Hagerstown, MD passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 29, 2019 at her son Garys home in Martinsburg, WV.
Born January 17, 1947 in Red Bank, NJ, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Marshall) Chocha and the late John Chocha of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Kline, a grandson, Jason M. Kline, four step children; Raymond W. Kline, Floyd R. "Bub" Kline, Glenn E. Kline and Clarence "Bo" Kline and special friend Jack Thompson.
Mrs. Kline is survived by her three sons; Gary M. Devor (Chininnia), Erik A. Kline (Wendy), Chris W. Kline, adopted daughter, Linda E. Neff (Roger), five step children; Wayne Kline, Darlene Patmore, Butch Kline, Evan Kline and Betty Melcher, one brother, Alan Chocha, two sisters; Rhonda Chocha and Maxine Pipan, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Kline was a graduate of Hagerstown Community College and retired from the US Census Bureau.
She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Hagerstown, MD where she enjoyed making rosaries, and assisting with communions at local nursing homes.
Vivian loved her family and cherished every moment she shared with them. She never spoke ill of anyone and was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed playing with her great grandkids and loved eating ice cream. Her last months were spent in the homes of her loving son Gary and his family and her loving granddaughter Heather (Kline) Pearson and her family.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Marys Catholic Church, 224 W. Washington St. Hagerstown with Rev. Fr. Joseph Langan as celebrant.
Graveside services will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Rest Haven Cemetery.
