Wanda Lavenia (Kershner) Brown, 95, of the west end of Hagerstown, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 19, 2021 at her daughter's house in Boonsboro.
She will be forever remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, by her six children, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Born on January 19, 1926 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Ira Raymond Kershner and Sue Ann (Weaver) Hankins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters; Mary D. Kershner and Florence Turner.
She is survived by her children; Wanda Sue and husband Charlie Lochbaum, Roberta Ann and husband Bill Mills, Stanley Robert and wife Teresa, Jo Ellen Mae and husband Henry Hilgeman (Deceased), Philip James Richard and wife Dawn and David Lynn and wife Vicki, 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
Wanda was a long-time devoted member of Good Shepherd Ministries where she developed many long-lasting, loving relationships. She was a long time employee of the Herald Mail. She will be forever appreciated, and forever missed by friends and family.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
