Wanda Lynn Long, 45, of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday, May 31, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born July 14, 1967 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of Percy L. and Dorothy A. (Gatrell) Shumaker of Hagerstown.
Wanda had worked as a self employed In home care nurses assistant.
In addition to her parents she also is survived by her husband, Robert L. Long, Sr.; two children, Bradley L. Long and Tonya L. Long, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Percy Shumaker, Jr. and James Shumaker, both of Hagerstown and two grandchildren, Savanna L. Curry and Hazel M. Curry.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Todd Stroud officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 7-9 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Wanda's name to the family, c/o Robert L. Long, Sr., 260 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
