Wanda Marie Poffenberger

Wanda Marie Poffenberger 78 of Middletown MD passed away Monday morning March 18, 2024, she was born December 25, 1945, in Shelbyville, IN. She was the daughter of the late John and Eris (Day) Norvell

In addition to being a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker she worked for the United States postal service.  She enjoyed her horses and her precious Yorkie Bella.

Mrs. Poffenberger is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Walter E Poffenberger; one daughter Caren M Thornburg (Rodney); two sons David W Poffenberger (Flor) and Daniel E Poffenberger; five grandchildren John, Victoria, Angel, Ben, and Lilly; one great granddaughter Maci; two sisters Joan and Judy; one brother Donny.

A graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue., Hagerstown, MD at the convenience of the family. The obituary will be updated once a date has been scheduled.
