Wayne Carroll "Buck" Boward, 74 of Hagerstown, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 in his garage doing what he loved.
Born February 14, 1939 in Hagerstown, he was the son of Fred Emanuel and Marian Ruth (Foltz) Boward.
He worked for Fairchild, Johnny;s Radiator, Koogles Radiator, the City of Hagerstown, Krumpe's Donuts, the rail road, and volunteered his time helping others as a handy man and mechanic. He was a man who could fix anything and loved the challenge.
He was Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his sister, Shirley Reed; children, Timothy, David, Heidi, and Joy Boward; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Eva (Nelson) Boward; three children, Chrissy, Rebecca, and Scott Boward; three brothers and five sisters.
A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, May 3, 2013 at New Life Christian Ministries at 12031 Hopewell Road in Hagerstown at 2pm. Friends and family will be received prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to New Life Church.
